Absolut Vodka teamed up with Spike Lee for the fourth release from it’s “City Line” of flavored vodkas, Absolut Brooklyn. It has red apple and ginger flavored alcohol and is said to “evoke the spice and vibrancy Brooklyn brings to the Big Apple.” The bottle itself is a tribute to Brooklyn, as it depicts a classic and timeless Brooklyn stoop. Also on the bottle is a line from Lemon Andersen’s poem, “Somewhere in the world Brooklyn in the house and you know we won’t stop spreading love cause that’s our way.” This is a must have for any vodka enthusiasts, Spike Lee fans (21+ yrs of age), or Brooklyn natives. The concept and presentation is on point, Absolut’s “City Line” flavor vodkas campaign is definitely something to be on the lookout for. Coming to a city near you, and remember drink responsibly. Below is the ad they dropped last week. Its pretty dope, and you can tell by the angles used and the all around style that it’s a Spike Lee Joint. Also Mr. Andersen did his thing on this, so mad props to him. I don’t know too many people that are into poetry like that, but if you are remotely interested than you’ve heard the name before.
